Ryan is now entering his 6th season with the club having originally joined as a player. Ryan is the current Academy Director and first team coach. Ryan is a FA A Licence coach, a qualified teacher and holds a Sports Management degree. He has led the under 19s into the Conference Alliance Premier Division as well as winning 2 Somerset Floodlight Premier Division championships and 1 League cup with the under 18s. Ryan has worked with his coaching staff to develop first team players Dayle Grubb, Rhys Farmer and Jake Mawford. Ryan has played in the Football League for Torquay Utd, before forging a non-league career at Team Bath and Woking before joining Weston where he was named Supporters player of the year for 3 out of the 5 seasons that he donned the goalkeeper jersey at the Woodspring.
